Carl C. Sarnacki M.D.

Dr. Sarnacki established Orion Family Physicians is 1992 and worked as a solo practitioner for five years. 

He obtained his board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine after completing his residency training at Corewell Hospital in Troy, MI.  He graduated from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, and obtained his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in Wisconsin.

Erik Zuckerberg, M.D.

Dr. Zuckerberg became the second physician at Orion Family Physicians in 1997 after completing his residency training at Corewell Hospital in Troy, MI. 

He obtained his board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine, graduated from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, and did his undergraduate training at Michigan State University.  He is one of three partners at Orion Family Physicians.

Jennifer Prohow, D.O.

Dr. Prohow is the third partner in Orion Family Physicians.  She joined the practice in 2007 after completing her residency training at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. 

She obtained her board certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, and is seeking a second board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine in Nov. 2011.  She obtained her medical degree from the University Of Health Sciences College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO after completing her undergraduate training at Michigan State University.

Ashley K. Aragona, M.D.

Dr. Aragona joined Orion Family Physicians in 2021.

After completing her undergraduate training at Michigan State University, Dr. Aragona obtained her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine located on St. Maarten. She then completed her family medicine residency through Wayne State University at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital and served as chief resident in her final year of training. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Aragona is native to Michigan and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Hanna W. Hanna, M.D.

Dr. Hanna joined Orion Family Physicians in the summer of 2024.

He received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University, after which he obtained his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed residency training through Wayne State University at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians.

Dr. Hanna is born and raised in Michigan and enjoys spending time outdoors as well as traveling.

Melissa Drallos, P.A.-C

Mrs. Drallos was the first physician assistant to join Orion Family Physicians in 2007. 

She obtained her board certification from the NCCPA after passing the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam in 2005.  She completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan.

Cheryl Ledesma, FNP-BC

Mrs. Ledesma was the first Family Nurse Practitioner to join Orion Family Physicians in 2013.

She obtained her board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) after passing the Family Nurse Practitioner Board exam in 2012. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse practitioner from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. She has been a practicing nurse since 1998.

Elizabeth Alkatib Asmar PA-C

Ms. Alkatib obtained her board certification from the NCCPA after passing the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam in 2015. She completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She also completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Wayne State University.

Bridget Wille, PA-C

Mrs. Wille obtained her board certification from the NCCPA after passing the Physician Assistant National Certification exam in 2017. She completed her Masters of Physicians Assistant Studies from University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. She also completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Health Professional concentration from Oakland University.

Kirk DeHerder, FNP-BC

Mr. DeHerder obtained his board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in 2020 and is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). After obtaining his Bachelor's in Nursing at the University of Michigan-Flint in 2016, Mr. DeHerder began his career as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. He went on to complete his Master's in Nursing at Oakland University in 2020 and began work as an internal medicine nurse practitioner. Mr. DeHerder joined the Orion Family Physicians team in 2022.

Rachel Doyle, FNP-BC

Mrs. Doyle obtained her board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in 2022 and is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She obtained her Associates in Nursing at Oakland Community College in 2011, followed by her Bachelor's in Nursing at the University of Texas in 2017. Mrs. Doyle spent ten years as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, Followed by three years in Labor & Delivery. She went on to complete her Master's in Nursing at Oakland University in 2022 and joined the Orion Family Physicians team in 2022.

Brendan Wille, PA-C

Mr. Wille obtained his board certification from the NCCPA after passing the Physician Assistant Certification Exam in 2024. He completed his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Detroit Mercy. He attended Oakland University where he completed his Bachelor degree in Health Science with a concentration in Pre-Health Professional studies.
